Kogarah Bay Tutors (KBT) is a locally founded tutoring service based in Carlton, NSW, created to provide practical and affordable academic support for students in the St George area. We focus on the essentials — clear explanations, structured lessons, and a calm environment that helps students build real confidence in their learning.

Our sessions cover English, Mathematics, History and German for students in Years 3–6, with a focus on building skills steadily and supporting real progress over time. Lessons are available in small groups or private sessions, depending on what suits each student best. Group sessions offer a collaborative, supportive environment, while private sessions (available at an additional cost) provide more focused, one-on-one attention for any year level.

Our tutors include both high-achieving high school students and experienced adult educators, allowing us to offer a relatable and supportive learning environment alongside strong academic guidance. Every session is designed around the student’s needs — not a one-size-fits-all system.

KBT is proud to be part of the annual Carlton On Parade program — a local initiative bringing education, creativity, and community together through Carlton. We share the same goal: to make learning accessible, collaborative, and connected to our local area.

We welcome tutors who are confident in English, Mathematics, History, or German, and who are interested in helping students build skills and confidence.
